The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will damage his features and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
